What's the strangest single you have come across in New Wave? I don't believe this a difficult question because IMO the genre has produced quite a few.

Baby Judy by the Hawaiian Pups. The high-pitched middle-eastern ya-ya's, the deep, ominous voice quoting "Dick and Jane"... strange stuff.

i'm not sure if it's new wave but i remember one called "Shiny, Shiny" by, I think Hazy Fantazi. My friend had a dance that she would do to it. I never knew what they were talking about. I need to hear it now [8D]

It's got to be "Homecoming Queen's Gotta Gun" by Julie Brown

This song was ok in the 80's but it's kind of scary to listen to now with all the stuff that has happened in high schools in the last few years.
