The Cinematics - A Strange Education

I found this upcoming album(Feb 7th) in a newsgroup after another member here recommended the track "Break". I have to say I have listened to atleat 20 times in the past week, its a great album by some very young lads out of Glaskow. It has alot of familiar sounds to it, I can hear influences of The Killers(think Hot Fuss), Snow Patrol, Catherine Wheel(think Chrome) and The Bolshoi. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking new tunes. www.thecinematicsmusic.com

I can finally say I've given it a few listens and really really like it. Really bummed to have missed them at SXSW. Here's a good review:

I can't believe its taken so long for someone elso to comment on these guys they really are awesome! There coming to HOB in New Orleans with Mute Math in May so I'll be able to see them live.

Just whatching them on Jimmy Kimmel Live show, they rocked, loads of Gang Of Four influences. I think I like them...[:0]
