The game was actually called Berzerk. The very first video game known to have killed a player in real life!

Besides the requisite video game faves like, Centipede, Mole Hunter, Tempest, Zaxxon and Time Pilot, I also fancied low tech classics such as <a href="http://www.hobbyhousetoys.com/productgraphics/labyrinth_board_game.jpg" target="blank">Labyrinth</a>, Chess and <a href="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/4/45/Uno.jpg/300px-Uno.jpg" target="blank">Uno</a>

However, Radio Shack's 'Armatron' was one of my most cherished geeky early 80's items. In retrospect, it was probably more of a toy than a game but I remember running out many sets of D batteries doing non-stop beat the timer sorting & dexterity tasks with all sorts of different objects. (Heh heh.. I even recall for a time, using it as a doobie holder![}:)])

I'm still kicking myself for having sold it off at a garage sale almost 20 years back[:(]

Did anyone else have the Intellivision set up? My parents wouldn't get me and my brother an Atari, but we had this. It had a really long controller with a curly telephone cord on the end.

We had a game called Burger Time that was just ridiculous--you were a chef that was chased by pickles, tomatoes and eggs, I think. I wish I still had that game [:o)]

We recently bought the kids one of the Intellivision direct to TV things and it's been fun playing those old games--Shark! Shark! and Night Stalker in particular.

I loved the game Mappy, would love to have this but don't think the wife would go for it even if it was in the neighborhood.

Kung-Fu Master!

I used to have a "Hulk" board game, in which a small incredible hulk on wheels had to smash through buildings made of plastic bricks. Also had a "Monster Squad" board game.

When I was little I had a game called Run Yourself Ragged that was kind of like Mousetrap. I loved that game.

Now if your talking video games... Ms. Pac Man. Best. Game. Evar. Along with Tempest, Centipede, Donkey Kong, Pole Position, Asteroids, Space Invaders. And wasn't Tetris out in the 80's?

I own 5 full size arcade video games (all in pretty nice condition):
Donkey Kong Junior, Q*bert, Gyruss, Tempest, and Gravitar.

I'm also the Gravitar world champion.
