Help! Searching for the name of a song

Help! Searching for the name of a song

Postby Gyroscope2 » Thu Apr 05, 2007 2:01 pm

A good friend of mine is searching for the name of a song. Has anyone seen the movie "American Splendor"? There was a snippit of a song during one part of a movie - it was during an MTV segment in the movie. She can't recall any of the lyrics unfortunately and she said it was a very brief clip. I apologize if it was a very common song, I haven't seen the movie. Thanks!

Good luck.[:)]

I have not seen the movie but a quick search of the Internet Movie Database gave a listing of the songs (not always comprehensive but still darn useful) used in the film.
http://imdb.com/title/tt0305206/soundtrack - Maybe that link will help your friend out - my hunch is it's The Clash's "Know Your Rights".

Thanks Marie3, for moving this topic to the appropriate spot, and thanks for the link, evilb! Unfortunately it isn't the clash song, but I'm going to read off a couple other song titles from the soundtrack to her and see if they ring a bell. Thanks!
