Oh man, does this song remind me of mix tapes long since turned to dust. I heard this song only once on WLIR, soon saw the 12" for sale in Manhattan, and bought it.
Will kids today have the same sentiments, remembering the first time they downloaded "LoveSexyBackFutureSoundsCrapola"? Sigh...
And be sure to tag it as "Special Ouch! Mix" (i.e., with the exclamation point), 'cause that's the way it was on the 12".

Yeah, I hear ya pretzelbag (yet another LIR fan reveals themself![8D])
This track is a prime example of what was played on 92.7 back in the day ('82 - '87 especially).
In particular, the 12" versions would often get first play and stay in rotation thus permanently setting one's preference for that particular tune.
Slowly but surely, I've been able to track down those cuts for my beloved WLIR music archive.
Many thanks again to all who have generously shared them in this forum!
