Marv, I am pretty sure it's Love Spit Love, Richard Butler's group after the Psychedelic Furs break up in the early 90's.

Still a great cover regardless.

Love Spit Love's rendition of How Soon Is Now was used in the TV show Charmed.

I love their original though with lyrics that goes like

You can always gauge the importance of and admiration for a band by how much they're covered. Sometimes a cover can deepen the appreciation of the original artist and other times it takes something away from the song.

I always loved Galaxie 500's cover of Joy Division's Ceremony. Of course, the ultimate cover was done and could only ever be done by New Order.
