I don't like it when I see very young children with toy guns in the streets, like toddlers, i think its' too young. sure when they are older and are into Action man(You call him GI Joe same sort of thing)) and know the difference between pretend and the damage real guns can do but even then I would sayto them keep it at home because alot of people are offended when a kid points a gun in their direction. It's nto political correctness as I hate that it's just I think very young pre-school children should have spme innocence, I certainly dont' want to breed a potential killer so those toys are for when they are mature enough to know what guns are used for.ou can't sopt kids playign wiht guns, i had a water pistol,I had a lasergun I made out of a carboard kit (remmeber those?!) from 'Star Wars'and my Dad got a picture of me pretending to be Princess Leia.Once you're school age you knwo about it but younger than that is asking for trouble you never saw toddlers with guns when I was little, it says all abotu society getting worse to me.
I had a 45 Browning and a 308 Savage that I promptly got rid of when my son was born. The cool thing was that the local Police dept. was having a gun turn in and offering 100 gift certificates to either Safeway or Toys r Us. I took the Toys r us.

Did you buy toy guns?

No, they look to fake with that cheesy orange tip [;)][:p]
Actually, the only weapon I've ever bought my son is a Light saber. One of those hundred dollar deals that look real and use fiber optics to light up. It broke within the week [:(]

This is the weapon of a Jedi Knight. Not as clumsy or as random as a blaster, but an elegant weapon for a more civilized age.

A lightsaber woudl be so cool, bit messy mind. There was two people that made lightsabers with petrol, yep it went wrong and this girl got scarred for life. I think the toy ones are a safer bet![:0][xx(]
I know what you mean but as a start, you shouldn't be able to go down to the local store and buy a gun. I know that there are background checks and everything but it's not working. How's this? Guns will only be sold at police stations where a heavy background check could be run. Would a wanted person go there to get a gun? And if you're caught with an unlicensed gun there's a manditory 10 year lockup on top of any crime you committed.

I really don't know, but this is just wrong. read this:
