Stop being an obnoxious prick, you mediocre Blir-wanna-be. Maybe you too would be as burned out as me if you lived in an area where the murder rate is 2x higher than the national average. I'm not saying I want to deny violence. I spent 18 years of my life fighting to continue the luxury of breathing. I'm sick of violence.

There are some people here on this post (which is about the VT tragedy, in case you forgot) who are using it for their own sadistic purposes, proving their childishness with name-calling and bullying. It doesn't fly because it is completely irreverent.

I am certainly not suggesting that I am qualified to be a moderator, but I (yes, Blir, even I!) have enough brains to know that the moderator(s) should be making better effort to keep such serious posts on track, rather than letting them become shit-kicking fests for the self-indulgent.

So, back on topic, I will say that I agree with Wolverine. It is an affront to play those videos of Cho over and over. It gives him the fame he desired and is traumatic to the people who were directly effected by the tragedy.

I'll stop being an obnoxious prick when you stop being such a fucking retard. Not gonna happen any time soon, eh?

And if you don't like the area you live in, it's a free country - MOVE. Or are we going to hear chorus after chorus of "I can't move because of this, that, this some more, that refried...."

Please, for someone who doesn't like to be preached to, you have some jilted ideas on "practicing what you preach."

Thank God your not suggesting you become a moderator. Get a handle on the quote functions first, then work on not being such a fucktard.
You should also read Waukena's post about what the role of a moderator should be.

#1 I have made plans to move. (However, that wasn't the point . . .)

#2 you said "jilted" ha ha ha ha (fix that and maybe I'll do better with the quoting mechanism)

#3 I did read Waukena's post. That's what inspired me.

#4 AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: Your last post is sad proof of what I just described, so I rest my case.

You can respond whichever way you like. I would like to hope you'll leave this alone and focus on the TOPIC, but your track record leaves me little inspiration. As for me, it's back to topic from here on out, because I do practice what I *cough* "preach".

That's redundant.
...proving their childishness with name-calling and bullying.

The preferred method of dealing with this is to follow up the bully's posts with one stating "This post was made by a bully".

Before you condemn those who, as you say, turn threads into shit kicking fests, you might want to learn a bit more of how the board has gotten to where it is today. Or do you expect everyone to re-align themselves with your particular set of values solely based on the fact you dropped in from the sky?

Just seems a bit presumptuous on your part.
All i stated was being raised on violence begets violence and that God has been forced out of schools Which IMHO removes compassion if anything else, you came up with the rest.
Does anyone else see the irony in rich white kids being the highest rap CD buying demographic? Lots of divorced parents and video games among them too. None of this is new subject matter in the media either. But I have to say though, these very same social forces affect all kids of every race. So really, why bring up race?

You on the guestlist?
I may have prematurely made some assumptions as to who the perp was but I based my assumptions off of reality and consensus. I didn't specify any particular race or any geographic environment nor on Gods condemnation or vengeance. Based off a rash of recent local idiot kids gone wild stating that "death metal and movies fed us to a point then we took it from there" definitely influenced my statements. My reference to "God" or a lack thereof in school etc.. is IMHO a step in the wrong direction, I never stated anything about God's vengeance or what the almighties reaction would or should be.
I think that kids today are being desensitized by all the media and they tend to blur the lines of reality. Please do not spin things to accomidate your personal opinions to my disadvantage.
Now that I got that off of my chest.

What really pisses me off is all of the recent copy cat threats and actions that's in reaction to giving the murdering piece of shi*s face time has spurned. Last count is 9 direct incidents in the last two days where they referenced the hero cho.
They should have never shown any of his video nor aired any of his writings or referenced anything of his other than showing his face blown off from his self inflicted gun shot.

I agree with you o. The school 5 miles down the road from me was locked down day-before-yesterday because of called in threats.

I have a hard time comprehending the depth of sickness someone like that must have.

lol @ "mostly kill each other." That's really assuring that a bullet won't hit a kid playing in the front yard of a gang-infested neighborhood.

My response was geared towards this quote:

Yeah, believe it or not, blacks and Hispanics have been at it for decades at inner city schools.

The only thing I have to sya on the matter now is that seeing that Cho on repeat messed with my day, I woke up early last week and his stupid voice and ugly face were in my head! *shudder* I had a thoguht though, does anybody remember the original Faith No More singer, Chuck Mosely?Cho's voice reminds me so much of his! That just adds to the fear factor for me, althoguh maybe we'd all be happier if Cho had have just joined a strange rock band, at least we woudln't have had to put up with him ad nesuam![xx(][xx(][xx(][:(!][:(!][:(!]Samll wonder he never talked with a voice liek that, he was damn near unintelligable ad being foreign is no excuse as I have knwon people from abroad that speak better English than us! God I so can't satnd Cho, I fear openign a newspaper for fear of seeing his ugly mush now! [xx(]

Gosh. Maybe first you could learn how to use the quotes before I take you seriously, troglodyte. Keep typing your tripe. Maybe someone will.

The quote function seems to frustrate the heavy cranial plate crowd here.
