Hey guys -

I've decided to shuffle off into the sunset and wanted to say thanks and goodbye. I was thinking about it and realized I hadn't posted or contributed to a music, or New Wave, related thread in a long time. Seeing as this is a music forum, that pretty much means it is time to go. I can't see that I contribute much more than my stubborn way of thinking and personal biases in my posts, something I can do on a countless number of useless sites on the internet, no need to sully this one.

Thank you to everyone that helped me revisit the music of my youth, discover lost gems, and reignite my passion for music.

I'd like to extend special thanks to Hexicon and KYYX for bringing back old memories of my Pacific NW youth in such vivid color. To Grunch and Ollie Stench for being so amazingly dedicated to the music, your passion and willingness to share won't be forgotten and your focus on the music helped make this site what it was supposed to be. I'd also like to thank 2Nu, a great guy that extended his hand many times to myself and others on this site. I'd like to thank MikeP for putting his time, money, ideas, sweat and passion into making this the only New Wave site worth my time. Finally, I'd like to thank the rest of you that contribute a positive presence to the site. While I never made an effort to get to know any of you off-line, please feel free to email me if I can ever be of assistance.

Thanks NWO!

PS - Marv, I'll be emailing you directly regarding a certain item.

See ya later dude!

After reading your post I am very tempted to leave as well, but we'll see what happens, all this current clutter is making me think it's better to just share the opinions of one's self instead of creating a monster. All "good" things eventually die, so maybe it's time to leave, but like I said let me see what goes on in the next couple of weeks.

Have a good time!

Beatschool, man oh man we are going to miss you![:(]

I loved your music and your off-topic (namely political[;)]) posts -- very insightful, even if they rubbed some people the wrong way. No matter what, I always appreciated and respected your unique perspective.

You'll always welcome here if you have any music news you want to share.

There will always be gasbags over here bakin' beans by the campfire. Don't be a stranger, y'hear?[:D]

Ben, you wouldn't want those pictures to be accidently posted now do you? I mean...the things you're doing to that poor animal.

Seriously, if I factored into Beatschool's decision, I'm truly sorry. I rarely agreed with him, but he always put a well considered opinion forward.

And I'm glad he didn't use Ciao...that's mine.

Although I never had the pleasure of a one-on-one with you, I always enjoyed your posts. How about, "see ya later" instead of good-bye?

I'm very sorry to see you go. I always enjoyed your posts here & envied your insight. More often than not I agreed with you.

It's a shame to see you move on - I really hope it's just a break.

Later days, Sean ... if you ever feel like calling someone a bully or a racist, you know where to find me [:D]. Good luck and hope to see you around again sometime.
