For the newbies, I should explain myself. I am white Irish German. My wife is Puerto Rican. I am a social worker. I am a union rep that protects the rights of ALL people. I believe that everyone should be equal. The point of this thread was clear to me and a few of you but some people are too short sighted and make my point for me. The first reaction is yelling racist. Its very sad in reality. When I represent a guy that is dead wrong and the only thing he can come up with is "they hate me because I'm.....Blank...they are racist? That sucks. It shows me how stupid people are. Things do need to change. I think that all people should be allowed to come to America. But to be a citizen, you are American first. They should not make you give up your ethnic backround (and they don't) but you need to be American first. Then all are equal.Equal as Americans. We should all learn English. Nobody should be able to use racist comments. NOBODY! (point of thread) Everyone should get an equal chance at happiness. The point of this thread is that all people should be equal. ALL! Some people would agree if that only meant their group. They are the ones that react like onion. People still react when someone yells racist. That sucks because most of the time its just to get a reaction. I don't know how clear this is but....it is to me. Biotches!
