From 84, I think. Former Stiff Little Fingers vocalist Jake Burns:

I don't know how obscure this is, or even if it was shared on a previous page, but I like it.

It's from a bootleg compilation called Kilt By Death - The Sound of Young Scotland. Little to be found out about them, as far as I can tell with admittedly limited searching.

Décima Víctima was a Spanish-Swedish quartet formed in 1981 who became the most representative band of the early 80's spanish "dark wave". They released a couple of EPs, some singles and 2 albums before splitting in 1984. In 1994 a compilation album was released, but nowadays it is out of print. Their biggest hit was "Tan lejos", a captivating, deep and melancholic song that can be found in some 80's comps.

Many of their songs have a strong Joy Division influence, so if you like bands like this one or The Cure, Echo & the Bunnymen, etc. give Décima Víctima a listen, they're worth it.

I'm posting a couple of their songs I really like, I hope you enjoy them:

OK, this may actually be a track that no-one here has heard before. (what I thought was obscure to me is soooo not obscure here!) This is Italian early house, late 80s. Francesco Salvi was played in all the clubs. His stuff was silly, but infectious and very dance-y.

Anyone got any info about this band? They sound like the Wild Swans and the Ocean Blue.

yousendit is limiting how much you can share at 1 time (1GB I believe) without paying for their premium service in an effort to charge you to upgrade. Once your links expire, the space will be freed up and your links will re-activate.
