I recorded this song from our local radio. The DJ said its the Damned but he didnt mention the title. Since i cant pretty much understand Brit accent so here goes.

It uses nice guitar with trumpet on the background. The voice kinda echoes. It has a guitar solo on the middle.
Help please!!

I don't recognize the lyrics but the description sounds like it would be from their final MCA album "Anything". They covered the song "Alone Again Or" by Arthur Lee/Love on that record.

Ollie is right. It has to be their cover of Alone Again Or. If you look I'm sure it is on You Tube to confirm it.

That lyric definitely corresponds to "Alone Again Or" from Love on their ultra-brilliant Forever Changes record.
I had no idea The Damned covered this song, and it's surprising enough that I've got to track it down and give a listen.
