Bobby Boris Pickett died today.

I remember back when I was a little kid waiting & waiting to hear Monster Mash on the radio around halloween - back before they played everything to death & you'd only hear these novelty songs once in a while. It was always a big thrill. I thought it was the coolest & funniest thing I ever heard.

I used to love Monster Mash when I was a kid. They played it on the oldies station my parents listened to.

That explains why I heard Monster Mash on the radio at the doctor's office today. It was weirding me out since it wasn't Halloween.

"Monster Mash" my 1st 45. The b-side is actual sounds from a Monster Party. Pretty silly, in a good way.
