Oh no...I'm not cool. I once texted someone at home to find out if the pizza had gotten there yet.

Does it count if I've forgotten how to text?

Damn pizza - ruins my rep every time.

I recently had to up my text messaging because I was texting over 300 times a month and going slightly over my limit.

50 Cent? Doesn't he do that Vitamin Water commercial?

MySpace is good for the music aspect. Everything else about it is BS.

What is it with these alleged friends that insist on texting you when, with a fraction of the time and effort, they could just call?

And, if you're like me, YOU get to pay for the privilege of receiving their text...

I'm only guilty of texting. I do it when I want to deliver a crucial message but don't want to get roped into a conversation with someone (like my mother!). Does that answer the question, djcraig?

1. texting is stupid but I've done it (I have 4 kids!)
2. My head is bobbing along as motors sings
3. I'm married. No need for a myspace page as I like my women over the age of 18 (If I wasn't married)

I wrote a song once when I was in a college band that dealt with this topic and the first line was something I was really proud of:
"I've never seen The Rocky Horror Picture Show..."

I've never taken part in or spearheaded a "ways and means" department at work or anywhere else for all that matters.

I've never seen a full episode of "Everyone loves Raymond"

and, I constantly lie about my age.

Those are my 3

THAT I can understand. But I thought distancing yourself from family members and close personal friends that was what email was for.

Unfortunately, some knucklheads I know just HAVE to text me regardless. Like either they are addicted to texting or need to show how cutting edge and technically saavy they are.

Samuel Morse was doing the same shit back in the 1850s. Then the telephone was invented. When does the novelty of telegraphing a written message wear off?

My mother is terrified of computers, yet the phone is her eternal (infernal) friend.

I think those people who insist on texting you are only interested in being heard and don't actually have any interest in listening to what YOU have to say. Maybe it's time to teach them about BOUNDARIES. lol.

1. Guilty. I keep in touch with my 15-year-old that way. And sometimes, the Mr. and I send each other messages--things we really wouldn't other people to hear. [}:)]
2. I also cannot name a 50 Cent "song."
3. Guilty. I do have a page. And, no, I'm not 16 and topless on it. My friends and I actually set them up when I moved away and we use them to stay in contact.
