1 - Huge live hockey fan, I go to at least 5-8 games a year. Wish I can attend more games.
2 - I like watching College and High School football games live, the NFL games I rather watch at home.
3 - Soccer games are great live, I went to a couple in Germany it was awesome!
4 - NASCAR, love it, love it Live, it's all about where you sit!
5 - NBA games are pretty fun, but can not crack my top 3.
6 - Not a big baseball watching fan, love playing it though.

Do strip clubs count as sporting events?

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention University football. I'm enjoying watching the University of Toronto Varsity Blues approach cross-town rival York's record of futility. U of T racked up their 42nd consecutive loss, this past weekend. York, my alma mater, was in the middle of their Canadian record setting 0-47 streak, while I attended there. If U of T goes winless this season, they will have an 0-48 streak. [:)]

A little "Fox Puck" for you. The comet glow for slap shots was the best. It definitely made for a better appreciation of the TV game. Really, it did. No, seriously, it did.

^^ Oh, I don't know. I think they should have put flames on there, too. That wouldn't have been cheesy at all.

John Zieglar? Fox Puck was under Bettman's watch. Much laughter was had by all here over that stroke of genius. I always hoped they would add the little comet trails behind fists during a fight. Or better still, a small bullseye on the head of the guy getting pummeled.

They can, depending on the un-televised "action" that takes place inside the joint... [:0][B)][;)]

I couldn't find anything on youtube, but Molson Canadian had a parody commercial around the glowing puck. A guy was pitching the glowing puck idea, gets tossed out of the boardroom with a red streak trailing behind him. LOL!

edit: It may have been a blue streak. He may have been pushing the idea blue pass/red shoot. They toss him from the boardroom with a blue streak trailing, showing they passed on the idea.

[br]Random question here.

How many of you like attending live sports events ? Whether it be pro (NFL, NBA, etc.), college, minor leagues, whatever.
Live hockey has no comparison to TV. Years ago when I lived in So Cal, I attended some Duck games and was blown away. TV just doesn't capture the speed or feel of the game.
High school and college football can have great atmosphere, emotion/spirit and school pride.
These days all I see are my daughters' rec soccer games, and well, they have their moments.
