I'm very familiar - as most people are - with the original "Frankenstein" by the Edgar Winter Group from the 1970's, but I have never heard this remake that he did in the early '80's. Can anyone here enlighten me about the record? AND, if any of you have an MP3 of the song, I'd be most enthusiastic! I'd even love to see the video; I can't seem to find it on YouTube! Would you consider this to be New Wave? I really don't want to assume that it is New Wave and waste everyone's time here.

Yea, me too! I once saw the video on VH1 Classic a few years ago and never again. I love the 80s funk that this arrangement is based on. Awesome track. Would love it if someone would share it. I've actually had the 12" vinyl in my hand at a used shop about 10 years ago and put it back for something else. One of those foolish decisions! I was young and had to set limits or walk out with the entire shop!
