Lame start- Good song

Not only there're good songs with bad endings, but also the inverse happens a lot.
I get that with New Order's "Spooky", delete the intro and start the song where Bernard kicks off singing and it'd be a 100 times better in my opinion.

Not New Wave but i feel that way about Coldplay's Politik. The song started lame then ends with a bang.

All time worst for me is The The's "Uncertain Smile". Where the fuck a normally standup guy like Matt Johnson gets the idea to start this very cool song with that completely retarded xylophone masturbation, I have no idea.

Retarded xylophone masturbation? I like the beginning of that song, nothing wrong with it at all.

This song has a lame start...in fact, I have no idea why it is there. It doesn't fit the rest of the song at all.

Angels on the Balcony is probably my all-time Blondie favorite track but the intro is so weird and out of place. I wonder if the band has ever explained why that intro is the way it is.

"Pale Shelter" by Tears For Fears. My favorite song by them, but the five seconds or so of music being played backwards doesn't fit.

Heaven 17 - Geisha Boys & Temple Girls.

It's great once the vocal starts, but wow, almost 50 seconds of torture before it starts.

I hear what you're saying and this is an opinion, of course, but I think it would have been better just to have started the song five seconds later. For me, it's awkward
