As I found it somewhat improper to post this as a reply to 9/11, I decided to make a post in its own right. The date my not ring a bell with many people, but it was truly a sad day for Chile. Their president, SALVADOR ALLENDE, commited suicide as the coup of the military went into the final stage. I simply wondered who remembers that event, as the thousands of deaths in the aftermath and the following years of terror under general Pinochet surely changed the way this country developed.

Smoky, that sounds just about as crackpot as the Duran Duran conspiracy. I think the terrorists worried more about what they were planning than making sure everything added up to 11. I doubt very much they have a special "make sure everything adds up to #11 arm of Al-Quaeda". I swear people are freakin' mental anymore. Who the f@#$ has the time in their day to sit around thinking this stuff up. The sad thing is they actually get people to read it and pass it around to people. Usually they find some other nut-bars to believe what they say who pass it on to other half-wits and the cycle is endless. It's a wonder the whole damn world isn't walking around haz-mat suits and gas masks carrying a bible and screaming the end of the world is here. Oh wait, I heard from a friend of a friend of someones uncle that this will happen on 11/11/07 (add it up it comes to 11) and the smart people that dug into the side of a mountain in the Ozarks will learn it was really Duran Duran behind the terrorism all along.
