Funniest Song Titles

Postby club80 » Thu Sep 20, 2007 1:34 am

What song titles did you think were hilarious? Not necessarily looking for the funniest songs, just the titles.
"Teenage Enema Nurses in Bondage" by Killer Pussy comes to mind.
My favorite has always been "Mine's a Large One, Landlord" by The Damned.

What are yours?

Does it have to be new wave?

With lyrics like:

"Plug me full of holes in my bootyhole
Fill me full of lead in my asscrack"

Wesley Willis - "Shoot Me In The Ass" has got to be one of the most so-godawful-bad-its-funny songs of all time.

Funny...but...yes, I think it needs to fit the general genre

I always had a sick sense of humour so most song titles by Anal Cunt always put a smile on my face. How can you not grin at titles such as 'I Snuck a Retard into a Sperm Bank', 'Foreplay With a Tree Shredder', 'I Became a Counseller so I Could Tell Rape Victims They Deserved It', ' I Gave Nambla Pictures of Your Kid' 'I Sent Concentration Camp Footage to America's Home Videos'. I kinda like "Fuckin 'ell, It's Fred Titmus" by Half Man, Half Biscuit.

Wall of Voodoo's "Maybe That's Not Her Head" makes me chuckle too for some reason.

I gotta throw in one album, Sparks' "Kimino My House".

I always like "Pile Driver" by Stan Ridgeway and "Googoomuck" by the Cramps. I mean ... what the heck is a Googoomuck anyway???

Forgot to mention another one of my favorites:

"You'll Always Find Me in the Kitchen at Parties" by Jona Lewie.

I love it when people sing about the most ordinary things!

Not new wave, but "Satan Gave Me A Taco" by Beck gets my vote.

I have a copy of their Top 40 Hits around here, somewhere. Some of my favorite titles are from that album: "Pepe, The Gay Waiter," "Staying Alive (Oi! Version)," "Delicious Face Style," and "Don't Call Japanese Hardcore Jap Core." Their lyrics were horribly crass, but it was so much fun to listen to them.

Sorry to be an anal cunt here, but it's actually "Kimono My House"[:D]

In Japanese it literally means a thing (mono) you wear (ki).

Frank Zappa/Mothers of Invention always had bizarre titles: Brown Shoes Don't make It, Weasles Ripped My Flesh, Sheik Yer Bouti etc

I always thought these were funny;

Mental as Anything - If You Leave Me, Can I Come too?

B-52s - There's a Moon in the Sky Called the Moon.
