Guitar Hero

My son entered a competition at a BW3 nearby and placed 2 in team and first in singles. I knew he was good but....wow.

He even unlocked all of the songs on Guitar Hero II because the judges didn't know how. There's another comp when the next edition comes out....I'll be there for that one.

I know it's not like he is a Doctor or Lawyer but I'm still one proud old man.

Very cool! I'm probably going to get Guitar Hero III when it comes out on the Wii.

If your son practiced on an actual guitar all the time he's spent at that game I bet he'd be pretty good.

I mentioned that to him but he's not interested in actually playing a real guitar...he's a bass player like his old man. About 5 years ago I got him a Cort bass modeled after the Steinberger. It's actually a pretty decent bass.

He's pretty decent. I wouldn't have him replace Frank Maudsley but he can hold his own. He's more interested in computers right now.
