I just blew coffee out my nose. Thanks alot.

(Still f-ing hilarious!)

I'm amazed qui-e-t-e whatever life is able to do so many sports/athletics for such a long period of time (daily) so quickly. It's amazing how the human body can just bounce back like that and even though 2-4 weeks ago you were-what did you call it? A "FAT STUPID FUCK"- you suddenly have the prowess of a leapard, the strength of a bear and the stamina of a long distance runner. Amazing. Really, someone call The Today Show.

Give the guy a break. It must be Hell for him to have to sit on someone else's shoulders in order to jeer the "fags" at pride parades.

I knew this was a disingenuous, baiting thread the moment I saw it. Quite Life is easily one of the most ignorant, judgmental and closed-minded people ever to register at NWO along with one of the biggest superiority complexes we've ever seen here. The regulars know this and for the newbies, his posting history is plain to see. You can look up a person's non-archived posts via their profile.

Rivera, the ball is in your court. In the spirit of objectivity, let me offer you a bit of friendly advice: you'd be surprised how much you can control a situation if you can just control yourself. Nobody ever registered at NWO to make enemies but people like yourself with outspoken, highly charged, opinionated, ill informed points of view and ulterior agendas just make it too easy.

Personally, I'd like to see you clean up your act. There are alot of people who may be viewing threads like this without the benefit of a historical context and may just see a mob mentality versus a seemingly innocent or pitifully naive individual. Sadly, this could turn some off to the NWO and this is a loss as our inclusive environment seeks to expand it's collective knowledge of all things New Wave through individual contribution. Granted, this is probably par for the course for any social institution but when it comes to my passions like music, I try to be an optimist and hope for the best possible outcomes.

Q-Life's posts will be monitored with interest as all of those who have it coming. A quick thank you, NWO collective, for making the moderation of this board so much easier.

Marv quotes:
“But people like yourself with outspoken, highly charged, opinionated, ill informed points of view and ulterior agendas just make it too easy.”

To say that I am ill informed would be misleading and not representative of my positions and opinions, granted my opinions were informed by the best and most scholarly academically trained evangelical reformed Christians as well as secular authors like James Davidson Hunter, Neil Postman, Alan Bloom, Martian Marty and many others. I do hold a Bachelors degree and have been accepted to a Master program at San Jose State University in information management. In a free society if you would agree we are free to express our opinions, we are too offended in this feminized culture to interact in any meaningful way or to traffic in opinions contrary to the popular course of direction of leftist populist lemmings. I long for the likes of those like the great C.S. Lewis to return to a time in which we can exchange ideas no matter how much we disagree in a polite but rigorous, aristocratic yet polemical and meaningful tome.

Now back to this thread this morning I hit 211 that means I lost 50lbs in 11 weeks!
Shouldn’t I get a medal?

Look my intention is to be friends with all in fact for those who are local I would love to meet you all seriously.

Cheers,
JR

Shovel,

It would be beneficial to all if you were more reflective and thoughtful in your input and interaction. I am not trying to be pejorative or condescending but am trying to challenge you to improve yourself in participating in meaningful and thoughtful dialog.

Cheers,
JR

Marv hopefully being consistant writes: (snip)

“Sadly, this could turn some off to the NWO and this is a loss as our inclusive environment seeks to expand it's collective knowledge of all things New Wave through individual contribution.”

I totally agree with your sentiment and am %100 sympathetic with your goals. My hope is that your ideas of inclusiveness would be consistent and include even the likes of me. You are consistently tolerant right? As far as contributing to the collective knowledge of all things “New Wave” on this board my record speaks for itself! Since I was old enough to go I’ve been going to punk and new wave shows since 1983! (If I could have gone to show when I was younger I would have!) And have been a fan since the late 70’s and have been listening to the New Wave radio stations since back in the day like KSAN KALX and The QUAKE! I got legit cred and my peeps up here can easily testify!!! I shouldn’t even have to defend myself before the likes of you!

My guess is that there is a lot of animosity over my recent success in being diligent and faithful in my pursuit of getting back into “game-day-shape” and that may be spurred on by my recent boasting. Soon I’ll be flossing my pics and then we will see were the chips land.

I would live to visit all of you in the flesh
