While I can appreciate DJ Phoenix's enthusiasm, the links are gone and better stay gone. This board doesn't need to come under the scrutiny of the RIAA or some label rep.

I may actually purchase this album myself. I know!

I finally watched "Kingdom" yesterday, and me likes what me sees. Too bad me grammers suffers for it.

So simple a concept, but seemingly still above comprehension by some.

Honestly I think it's they just don't care of someone gets in trouble, if the site lives or dies or if the owner gets sued. Seems very selfish to me - all in the name of easy access to a song or a "scoop."

In DJ Phoenix (who is actually seems like a pretty nice person) defense, I think it was just too juicy a scoop not to post, however it is so grossly a violation of this forum (even more so considering it is material that alot of people on this site would actually go and purchase)....

I don't even bother asking for anything anymore in this forum, because as Morrissey said "there is always someone with a big nose, who knows...")

Maybe I'm out of the loop, how does "leaking" a CD increase sales? Extrapolating from the known leech factor present here, I'd say leaking the CD before official release would result in thousands of non-sales. It's a small minority that will buy what they were already given for free.

Soulseek is a perfect example: I've had hundreds of conversations with people and their on-line collections of music: not one owned a hard copy of all the songs in their shared, a few owned a portion, and the vast majority owned 10% or less. Might just be the people I've run across, but I have to think the breakdown isn't far off.
