"Soulja Boy- Crank That (Superman)" cool vid

If anyone keeps up with modern top 40 music, or has kids who do, you probably know that the song "Crank That(Superman)" is absolutely unavoidable right now.
For those who don't know, it is a hip-hop song that has it's own dance. The video is played evry time MTV or VH1 actually decide to play videos. All middle school kids know the dance, and 50% of teenagers have it as their ringtone.

Anyway, I'm not here to tout the song, which is basically cookie-cutter hip hop that has seemed to dominate top 4o radio for the last five years. I do, however, really like what drummer Travis Barker has done with the song. Barker is the drummer for punk-pop group Blink-182 and is a phenomenal drummer.

Watch this video and judge for yourself how awesome Barker is on the drums. He actually makes the song listenable to me.

My son has already filmed his own version of this dance craze as well. Then I have to walk around with that earworm for days.

That drummer is good.
That song sucks moose cock. It makes me want to go wilding and bust some caps.
Now for a song that I love that is new? Shut up and drive-rihanna.

Believe it or not, this morning I heard this was the number one song downloaded on iTunes.

Even if I was to believe that Travis Barker was anything beyond marginally adequate (which I don't), I still couldn't bring myself to sit through something this shitty just to hear him.

Thanks anyway.

Except that it is actually "Blue Monday" with Rihanna singing over it. Still good but hardly new.
