My current gf's kid has that asperger shit. Other day, the little guy insisted on his mom driving him to different public bathroom's so he could compare the power of the toilets. Good to know that the toilets at Big Lots are more powerful than the ones at Target. Nice kid, but Jimmy Christ is he a handful.

On topic, the only show I try to catch anymore is Curb Your Enthusiasm. I'll probably be catching The Venture Bros once they get new episodes made. Everything else current is caca, IMO.

The only shows I really go out of my way for are the HBO ones like Curb Your Enthusiasm and Entourage. Flight of the Concordes usually holds my attention. Now that I have a DVR, I should record other stff that I want to watch but never seem to have time to. Like Battlestar, Heroes and Bionic Woman.

SB--I know you're bound to have already done lots of research on aspies, but let me tell you from personal experience that it's not necessarily a bad, terrible thing. Some people with Aspergers are indeed very different and sometimes difficult, and some manage quite well with only a few odd quirks and moments.

Thanks, BMG. We have been doing lots of research and although I'm sad that he will be in some ways disadvantaged in life, I'm excited about how his brain works and how it can lead him to frontiers that regular minds may not be able to accomplish. A lot of people who work for NASA and Microsoft have Aspergers! My son is actually academically very smart and has skipped a grade. He needs more one on one help to remain focused and to cope with over-stimulation, but his grades ROCK. He has an incredible memory and can recite every diologue of every Spongebob Squarepants episode or tell you anything you want to know about Star Wars (and everything you didn't want to know, too). Now if we can just direct him to use his powers for good.... LOL!

Me and my buds dubbed this one "It's Always Unfunny in Philadelphia" (and this is coming from a guy who bartended in Irish pubs for a decade), but I will admit every once in a blue moon, there is a cheap laugh to be had. For instance, the "Dateline: To Catch a Predator" parody on this week's episode, where what's his face says about Dee, "Not so young and attractive, is she?"

More lines like that and less screaming and they might have something.
