Holiday Music

Postby starryeyezmel » Wed Nov 07, 2007 10:38 am

So I just picked up the new Mannheim Steamroller Christmas album. I love the holidays and the music. My friend at umg told me Mannheim had a new cd coming out so I had to pick it up...it's awesome just like she said. If you want to hear some of it try http://www.fontanadistribution.com/samp ... Perfect! With record high temperatures in the 90's here, nothing gets me in the mood for the holidays like a little Mannheim Steamroller and the premature display of Christmas decorations at Wal Mart.

I think Mannheim Steamroller needs to do a cover album of Blue Man Group tunes. That's what the people want.

I like their stuff and I'm also a big fan of Trans-Siberian Orchestra. MS with their new age/traditional sound and TSO with their metal meets classical meets traditional take on it. TSO puts on one heck of a live show, including an awesome laser lights and pyro display.

It's only Nov. the 8th and I'm already sick of hearing Bing's "White Christmas" while shopping, seems like they start earlier every year.

Makes you wonder how much more torture it will take before people finally wake up and realize just how controlled they are. Shop little sheep! SPEND! [:D]

yesterday I wandered into Bath and Bodyworks and an employee tried to waft "Christmas Tree" room scent under my nose. I told her to back away and no one would get hurt. She seemed very offended, I don't know why.
