2 or 3 train to midtown. The Nintendo Store at Rock Center gets a fresh batch every Tuesday or Wednesday. Even at the peak of last year's frenzy, I bought one for us, one for a friend, and one to sell on eBay to pay for the first two. [;)]

Philly, if you don't find one let me know. I have become very good friends with the manager at Gamestop by my house.

My 2 cents...you're best off picking my method. The Marie thing sounds a little shady...some Italian lady from Long Island says she knows people who knows people?? Come on! Next thing she'll be asking you to take a little money from her friend Vito and all you have to do is tell the insurance company someone hit your car.

If I may say so myself, the Wii is fucking awesome. Every kid should have one, it'll be the closest a lot of get to real exercise.

Kid?.....I think I had more fun with it than they did when we got ours last year. Beat the crap out of my husband boxing, my kids beat the crap out of me boxing. They made a mii that looks exactly like me. It's actually spooky. And to think that this started with Pong. I'm just waiting for Keyboard Hero 80's edition so I can really kick some ass [:D]

I just picked one up on Saturday at BestBuy after looking around for a couple weeks. There were none on the floor, so I asked a salesman if he had any and he went in the back and brought one out.

It is nice. We're bringing one into work just so we can have a golf tourny on "Tiger Woods Golf" [;)]

We got one and it was all the rage until Halo 3 came out. Now it collects dust. At least with the Wii I had some chance and often won, unlike just about every other game.

they have one in the rec room of the student center of my college. I take my kids and hubby there now and then. We rotate playing darts, fusball, pool, and Wii. It's lots of fun. I really enjoy watching my husband and son beat the crap out of each other at boxing. [;)]

The only way to go is buying the bundle packs from EBgames.com but that would cost you up to $400.However they include in that package 5 other games, 2 Wii controllers and a memory card. Still its a better price than the ones you find in ebay that gives you much less of an offer with the same pricing.

On a side note, the novelty for the Wii would run pretty obsolete in 3 years time. The graphics itself is still very much the Gamecube or for that matter it gives you more flashbacks than the music content in this forum. I would say go with the 360 all the way because it has a much more diverse library of better games. I say that as I do have all 3 systems of the next gen consoles but 2 of them are currently collecting dust [xx(]

Of course since you are buying it for probably your kids or neices/nephews, you can disregard what I say but eventually they will come back to you complaining in 2 years time [:D]
