I've been an iTunes believer since day one but never seem to have the time to really peruse the podcasts in depth. I decided to take a look this morningn and found this one podcast, NPR: Live Concerts From All Things Considered. Amazing stuff! Dozens of shows over two or three hours in length that include The Walkmen, Belle & Sebastian, Arcade Fire, Death Cab For Cutie and lots more. If you're an iTunes user and haven't discovered this gem yet, I'd say it's worth a look.

Damn- I missed seeing this post earlier. Good work, Marv!
I've been thinking that running an audio line from my computer to an external CD burner is a good way to "capture" these podcasts.
Anybody have other genius ideas on how to convert podcasts to a recordable/reproduceable format?

Well if you're already in iTunes (and assuming you've downloaded the podcast), you can just create a new playlist with the content you want and hit the burn disc button.
