Les Revenants? Why would France make a zombie movie? They could just film the country on a regular day. (just picture 2 zombies at a cafe talking about cinema)[:D]

[/quote]While in the military I was in Paris with guys who visited his grave. They said it was disgusting broken beer and wine bottles and people pissing on or near his grave, this was over 20 years ago. Just wondering has it changed since then?

It sounds a lot like "Babylon Fields". I guess a pilot was shot this year, then CBS decided to not pick it up. I was really disappointed - it sounded great.

Saw "The Darjeeling Limited" yesterday. If you like Wes Andersen movies, it's definitely worth seeing. It's closer to "Bottle Rocket" in terms of scope than it is to "Rushmore" or any of his other movies. It focuses on the relationships between three brothers, with typical Andersen humor, camera work, soundtrack, etc.

I tried watching the remake of The Wicker Man. I made it through about 30 minutes. What the hell is up with Nicholas Cage's face? Is it a facelift? Pancake makeup? What?
Couldn't get past it, couldn't enjoy the movie.

I can't figure out why a lot of women don't get into Knocked Up. I guess they are too busy looking for vacant movies that glorify shoes and the perfect man (ha ha ha haaaa!). I thought Knocked Up was brilliant. What a friggin' hoot. I haven't laughed that hard in a while. I love the scene where the guys eat the shrooms and then go to watch Cirque de Soleil. Hee hee.

Yeah, Knocked Up was pretty funny!

I Saw Bee Movie over the weekend. Very Funny!
Seinfeld was funny as always.

Yah, [i]Knocked Up[/i] was pretty funny. A nice gentle story behind it, too. Not brilliant, but some good laughs.

I thought "Knocked Up" was hilarious.

We saw "Beowulf" this weekend. It was definitely a bastardized version of what I read in high school. I wish we'd chosen "American Gangster" instead.

I saw it a couple of weeks ago, and yeah, I don't know why I liked it so much either. I loved Kevin Costner & William Hurt's interactions. It was a great twisted, well written story.

Galaxy Quest. A goofy, rated PG flick about the crew of a massively popular sci-fi tv show who are now out of work and just doing the convention circuit, replete with geeky, obsessive fan(atics). Peaceful aliens from another planet recreate their "starship" and technology and ask them to help them against an aggresive, warrior race. They save the day, grow closer together and wind up with a new show.

Some laughs but you could miss this one.

Saw "The Barbarian Invasions" on iFC last night, good French-Canadian flick, enjoyed the old man's point of history he would tell the nun nurse. Won't say more, must see film: flick about Life and Death, and what people will do for each other when the end comes...

Mr. Brooks was great. Costner and Hurt were terrific. I love well made characterizations that compel you to root for the bad guy. That takes real talent!

Also saw Room 1408. What a waste. I LOVE John Cusack, but I want to hunt him down and demand my $$$ back. What was he thinking? I kept waiting to get scared, kept waiting to be blown away or amazed... or even just interested. Not gonna happen in that flick. [:(]
