Try and find a good quality mp3 of "This Island Earth" - "See That Glow"
Is this a joke?

So the hunt is still on for Stay (The Second Time Around)huh? oh well. Funny thing would be that when it finally is identified it's on CD already.
No, it's not a joke.
By the way, am I one of the only ones that likes the song at the speed it's at? I don't think it would be better faster. But maybe I'm wrong.
first off, thanks very much to gnj1958 -- I love "See That Glow" since seeing the video on youtube recently... I never heard it before then, and would have been happy to buy a copy from itunes, but it's not available.

Second, winterofdestiny -- I also think "Stay (The Second Time Around)" sounds perfect at the speed it plays in it's current state, and hope the song will identified soon.
Ok, let's get organized here. Which possible songs have not been verified yet? I am willing to buy an album or single. If everyone else here buys one, maybe eventually one of us will happen upon the right one.

Does someone have an official list of the songs not verified? We could each take one. As we update it, we will move it down to the "not it" list. I'll take the one on top.

Yes, it's buried in this thread

Fun to read this when an American girl payed me more than 200$ for a normal copy of Duran Duran's debut album signed by four of them (signed nowadays, not then)
Only $200? If a European had bid on it, it wouldn't have gone for so little!

Speaking of which, anyone ever had tecnostation23bj, klumpa, spitfire_parade or lostandfound_de bid against them on ePay? Chances are, if you did, you didn't win... unless price is of even less object.

Fun to jack them up, though, since they're all too stupid to snipe. Here's some ePay bidding tips, guys -- if you're going to bid over $100 on something that has a market value of under $10, you probably want to learn how to snipe.

I have a threory that klumpa is in fact Michael Schumacher. Whoever it is, he buys multiple $100.00 + auctions with alarming regularity. He also routinely overpays for items that could be had on GEMM.com for a fraction of the auction cost. Obviously working on the volume/average unit cost buying plan.

As far as the rest of those names, I've never come across them, but I have seen Sky82, bruder-numpsi, minimalwoman and a few others I can't remember now throw some serious bids on stuff.

I've jacked a couple of items I'm afraid to say, once I added over $100.00 to an item in the closing minute. I'm sure it's happened to me as well.

Hi everyone,

does anybody know anything about this band:

Artist: Article; LP Title: Stay, Year: 1985

I tried to find any information about them on the net, whithout success..I don't even know if there's a song called "Stay" upon the album.
Does anybody know more??

Here's the GEMM-Link to the LP:

More bad news I'm afraid. I sent the link to Jack Rabid - publisher of The Big Takeover and, in my opinion, the world's foremost expert on alternative music.

He's never heard it.

Oh well.

Well that's probably because this song can hardly be described as "alternative". It's pure pop
