http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071217/ap_ ... _fogelberg One of his greatest works in my opinion was "Netherlands". Yes,I do listen to other music aside from the genre on this website.Sad when music icons that were very talented pass away.

"Same Old Lang Syne" is a classic song. It is one of those great story songs. RIP Dan.

Wow, what a shock. One of my favorite singer-songwriters from the 70's (along with Neil Young, Steven Stills and James Taylor). "Souvenirs" is still one of my favorite albums from back then.

Sad to hear, even though I've never been a fan. That leaves Dan Hill as the undisputed most sensitive, emotional singer-songwriter named Dan.

Forgot about Seals. He'd be a contender, except Hill & Fogleberg did it solo, while Seals had the help of Crofts.

Wrong Seals, you're thinking of Jim. Dan Seals was England Dan, 1/2 of England Dan and John Ford Coley, who soiled the top 10 charts with such wimpery as I'd Really Love To See You Tonight, Love Is The Answer, Nights Are Forever Without You, and We'll Never Have To Say Goodbye Again.

And if one of those is stuck in your head for the rest of the day, Merry Christmas! [}:)]

Anyone up for compiling a "Wuss-Rock" cd? Just don't leave off Ambrosia's "You're The Biggest Part Of Me".
