No hangover this year - it just gets harder and harder to handle the older I get! So instead we're taking the kids to see National Treasure 2. Then just chillin' inside for the evening.

True words to my ears! Forget Blanco and Anejo... gotta go with the Reposado, especially El Rey Azul's Nobleza brand... yummy! And a few shots of the Bison weed vodka: Zubrówka! [:D][:D]

We're staying in this year. We had guests staying here for over a week (last one left this morning) and now we're too tired and crabby to be around any merriment this year.

I've got a bottle of my favorite red wine and a new book. That's a perfect beginning to a new year for me.

I had an old friend over, we all ate a bunch of junk, which is always a plus. I recently bought seasons 1 - 7 of the X-files, so we watched episodes of that all night. It was a good one!

Happy New Year in the Central time zone!! This year is the official year of my high school class's first-ever anticipated reunion, which I'm totally not going to (are you ridiculous?) and have already warned the alumnae office to block any reunion-oriented info, but it's still kinda funny to think that ten whole years ago I was going through all that madness. There were all those tests and applications and having to worry about keeping up my GPA and service projects and being an officer in two different clubs and OMG, all that madness was TEN years ago? You're kidding me. But yeah, anyway, 2008 will be an interesting year.

Yeah...we kept it real quiet in the club80 household this year. Just me, the Mrs., our son and Scruffy, the 3 1/2 year old Cairn Terrier. A nice mug of the local brewery's toasted lager to toast the new year!

We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.
