Mrs. scramjet gave me a very nice looking wool turtleneck sweater. I tried it on just after I finished shaving (I use a blade). It felt like fire ants crawling all over my neck. Fortunately she kept the receipt.

I kid you not, my mother-in-law gave me a towel. Don't know what I did to get on her bad side. But who gives someone a towel? I wish I could have seen the look on my face when I opened it. Being with her son for 26 years and all I get is a freaking towel. Holy shit, now I know where her son got his gift choosing prowess from. I've gotten some beauties from him too. I can hardly wait til this Christmas, maybe I'll piss her off enough to get a toilet brush or something really personal like that. Don't say it's the thought, it is what it is,... a freaking towel!

You've got to get the quadruple blade razors. Haven't cut myself since I started using them a year ago!

I've been using a Shick Quatro lately, which I like. Cutting myself isn't the problem - I just have sensitive skin. I'm shuddering just thinking about the 30 seconds I wore that sweater. Now I know what a hair shirt feels like.

From myself? A new external hard drive--my Ipod library outgrew my computer. (And I'm waiting another year to replace my computer before dealing with Vista--when most of the bugs have worked their way through--I'm almost tempted to get one of those Macs that can also do Windows--otherwise I need to utilize files from work easily so I'm likely to stay in the world of PC's, I'm afraid)
