Plastics manufacturing. We hire through a temp agency so we get all of the pedophiles, wife beaters, thieves (even had a murderer...she killed 3 of her kids over the years and blamed it on SIDs) http://www.enquirer.com/editions/2002/0 ... ed_of.html

and jailbirds who are out on work related leave.

Some guy walked in during the night (I was there starting up a new job) and he was looking for a certain individual who didn't work here any more. The guy had a pistol under his shirt and down the front of his pants. I told him the guy he was looking for didn't work here anymore so he left with no incident. I called the cops with a description of him and his car. I also stopped some idiot who was trying to grab a female worker and he cut me with his razor knife...a slash across my stomach....no stitches but it was close. Small town USA has it's far share of pieces of shit too.

I'm glad to read nothing serious happened to you, but god, it must be frightening working there with all those cazy people around.

Five or seven times mostly for public intoxication with a drunk driving charge and add a dash of receiving stolen property. No long
jail time just overnighters.I ain,t proud of it but I don,t hide it.
After my DWI in 94 I have been a straight A student in life.

Long story short:

May 1988: party at South Bay Scooter Club's house in Torrance, CA

Someone gets hurt, I think broken arm, ambulance comes, and Torrance PD comes, tells everyone to leave front lawn, go back into backyard, and then tells everyone to leave.

One of the guys that lives at the house is telling everyone to go into backyard; cops grab him in a chock hold, he passes out, all caught on video, then all hell breaks loose...

I was pulled out of a car and arrested, while cops looking for video tape, probably b/c I told the other guy to video tape the incident...

I got arrested, charged with 2 misdemeanors, beaten up by one of the officers back at the station (and so did the other 5 guys)--then even tried to get the one black officer to beat up on the black kid while all the white officers looked on, but thank god the guy didn't do that... my arresting officer, who was a black-belt whatever the discipline, beat me up in the holding cell I was in.

Called the ACLU on that Monday after Sat. party, and held press conference, showed video, all over the news, my Uncle in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada saw me on the news and called my parents...

No federal trial, the city settled out of court, I got a few bucks, the officers were kept on the force, etc. etc.

But these two little misdemeanors, although dismissed, always pop up, like when Santa Monica College hired me, when I got my series 6 and 63 securities license back in 1996... What a pain in the rear it has been.

Anyway, I don't hate all cops, just the few bad ones... for a long time I really avoided the police, freaked out whenever pulled over for infractions, had many a bad nightmares... time has passed and I'm a whole lot better, I do not wish being beaten by police on my worst enemies!
