I wonder if they'd do Coachella? Realize it's before their planned tour, but seems up Coachella's alley of new wave reunions/headliners. Hmmmm...

RE-Post!—more folks will read this here in this section, ditto to marie, et al.

Way cool! I hope you get to see them, special once(?)in a lifetime treat!

They broke up over not ever wanting to tour as I heard it via Vince Clarke... Aylison wanted to tour... don't know if that is true or not.

You mean the US ripoff version without the 5.1 SACD mix? *jk*

Actually, I'd prefer to have the UK version, but a release date would be sweet. It tells me when the US will be released(or pretty close to). Then, I go to the Record store, and order the UK version. Sounds stupid I know, but I base it on a timeline of sorts.

Speaking of Coachella:

Have you seen the shitty lineup they have for this years version? I'm glad they don't plan on making any $$$ from this one. Who's their person(s) in charge of booking talent? they should be fired immediately. A bunch of shitty techno bands/bands no one has heard of. I wouldnt give them a dollar for a ticket. After this years festival bombs, we can blame it on the shitty lineup, as to why no one goes(which they'll play it off somehow).

Yaz Back Together For Summer Shows
Yaz in the early 1980s

January 22, 2008, 2:35 PM ET

Katie Hasty, N.Y.
For the first time in more than 25 years, British dance duo Yazoo -- known as Yaz in the United States -- will reunite for a series of shows in the U.K. and U.S. this summer.

The Reconnected tour kicks off June 4 at the Glasgow Clyde Auditorium in Scotland and continues for four more dates, finishing June 18 at London's Hammersmith Apollo. U.S. dates are yet to be announced.

Tickets for the European shows go on sale Friday (Jan. 25) through the band's Web site, then go up for general sale Feb. 1.

"In Your Room," a four-disc collection of remasters, remixes, B-sides, a DVD and the band's only two albums "Upstairs at Eric's" and "You and Me Both," is also set for release in May.

Group members Vince Clarke and Alison Moyet parted ways in the summer of 1983, after the success of their singles "Only You" and "Don't Go," plus the U.K. chart-topper "You and Me Both."

Clarke has spent the rest of his career in Erasure; singer Moyet has released a number of solo albums, including last year's "Turn."

If memory serves me right, didn't Vince try to get Alf & Andy together on a single last year, but the record companies said "NO"????

Still looking for my girl with auburn hair and tawny eyes...

<p align="justify">Whaaa...?! That's, like, 100 bucks a pop. Nuthin', man. I'd pay for two of them tix in a snap considering POO2 and Sting goes as high as 300USD. However, I'd pay that much to go see Roxy Music[}:)]
