<p align="justify">I recently got a Dell laptop with a bunch of storage space (like 300-somethin gigs), but a lot of that space seems to be have been quickly eaten up. Like it says, there's a total of 287G of disk space and now I only have 176G of available disk space. I look to see what I have that's taking up so much damn space and I have about 7gigs of music, 2gigs of photos, and about 50gigs of junk I've downloaded from torrents[}:)] All of it doesn't total more than 64gigs, which leads me to question: WHERE THE HELL IS THE OTHER 44 MUTHAFUCKIN' GIGS?![}:)] Is my laptop making double copies of this shit and stashing it all in some secret compartment? Or maybe I just don't get how this disk space thingy really works and what it actually means (which is most likely the case). I've deleted some stuff in the past - mebbe that stuff hasn't been completely deleted or something. If so, how would I know for sure it's completely wiped out and have that space available?
Any help would be greatly appreciated[}:)]

Great question, I'd like to know as well if there's a double storage going on, a back-up copy is being made, or the "invisable" system files are hogging the road!

note.. if it is Vista... it may have come with a copy of ms office (preinstalled but not registered).. that will take up a shite-load of space.
