The only thing I really miss from the past is the genuine lack of cynicism and pessimism in my mind. I'll probably become moreso over time. Strangely enough, I am known to most people as being positive and upbeat, so it evens out (I suppose). Another thing I do (and will) miss is writing out letters and postcards to people: the whole entire process of [i]composing[/i] a letter using cursive script (with a 45-degree angle!), making sure not to make any mistakes (and, should I make one, I'd have to re-write the whole letter in order to make it look "clean"), going to the mailbox, and waiting... and waiting... and waiting to get that handwritten reply. Now, more than ever, I appreciate anything that is handwritten directed towards me (even criticism).
