I had to go with Robert Smith. Much truer to New Wave and much more active than the others

I always said the "Mt. Rushmore" of Punk/New Wave were the early-70's originators...David Bowie, Lou Reed, Iggy Pop & Bryan Ferry. I HOPE all four have something new for us this year.

Their last album was a turd, and I'm wary of the next one with The Cure as a four-piece, but I've got to hand it to Robert Smith: He's still doing things his way, on his terms.
