6 dead in house fire.

Postby Max Murdoc » Wed Jan 30, 2008 3:08 am

10 minutes from me (you might have heard, it was in USA Today and made some national news) some worthless piece of human feces set his neighbors house on fire (over a cell phone) killing a Grandmother, her daughter and 4 grandkids. His attorney is asking for pity because he said that the POS "can't read". What the holy hell does that have to do with anything? Just because he can't read means that it's ok to kill 6 people? Am I missing something here? Is he trying to avoid the death penalty? There's no way he's going to get out of jail. I get so sick over trying to reduce sentences because of a bad home life or they didn't know any better or some other stupid reason. He set the house on fire, he admitted he did end of story. Find a vacant house chain him to a bed, wait till he falls asleep and set the house on fire.....ok, that might be a bit rough but he needs to be punished severely.

Send him here. We have all kinds of time to listen intently to his hard luck story, sink tens of thousands of dollars into his "rehabilitation" so he can be released back into society to re-offend, which will then cause us to re-examine our rehabilitation procedures so as not to fail the unfortunate person in his position.

Yeah, you got it right, we in Canada worry more about the POS that commits the crime than we do about the victims, because after all, they are dead and nothing can be done about that.

On second thought, send him to Texas, where they know how to do it right.

"Other states are trying to abolish the death penalty. In Texas, we're putting in an express lane." -- Ron White (my favorite "redneck" comedian) (Sorry, had to quote that.)

Haha--mine, too. He's a native of Fritch, TX, and I grew up about 12 miles from there, so I feel like I relate to him on a primitive, redneck level.

Oh, well. The family was a fire hazard to begin with. 11 people in a 5-room house... with a couch blocking the front door. Fire Marshal Bill is not impressed.
