Can't say that I recall my Patti friends up there passing up a whiskey to flip through Wine Fucking Spectator.

I gotta say that the witty commentary there isn't really helping my argument with Randy...

What's that loud choking sound comming out of Glendale, Az. That would be the Pats. Belechik what a dick, leaves the field before the final play without even congratulating the winning coach.

UNBELIEVABLE. All there is to it. WOW!

Or maybe it's just hard winning these things without knowing all your opponents plays. It was civil war in my household - my wife actually left to our neighbors after the 3rd the quarter. [:I]

Guess Tom won't be going to Disneyland this year. But Giselle Bundchen isn't a bad consolation prize.

How amazing is it, first that two brothers were able to make it to the NFL as starting QB's, then for them each to reach the Super Bowl in consecutive years?

I'll be rooting for the Patriots and perfection, besides, if the Giants win, it means every Peyton Manning commercial will be followed by an Eli commercial. That will make all commercials, 100% Manning.

As a New Yorker, you know who I'm rooting for. Hey...maybe Eli will get his own commercials instead of riding Peyton's coattails.
You may think I'm crazy but I think The Giants have a shot.

And...so they did. I am not gloating so don't take it that way but you have to consider this as one of the legendary championship games of all time. It's not because they were such pronounced underdogs. It's because David slew Goliath and stopped an unprecedented record of 19-0.

If you are having Super Bowl withdrawls already you can tune into Animal Planet and watch Puppy Bowl IV. Possibly the moronic show ever aired.

Damn that was a fun game. Wifey came back afterwards...pointing her finger at me to not say a f*cking word. As I would like to have sex again at some point in the next year, I complied. Can you imagine, me, not getting in a dig. [8D]

Um, some of us who normally watch very highbrow stuff (e.g. documentaries on people such as Simon Rattle and Chuck Close on Ovation) actually derive great amounts of enjoyment watching that kind of thing (i.e. the Puppy Bowl), and besides, I feel that shows such as "American Idol" and "Survivor" are the truly "moronic" ones. So kindly put a sock in it.

As for the Super Bowl itself: I only tuned in for a total of about five minutes. I had no vested interest in any of the teams playing, but it was nice knowing the Giants won. The priest who led the Sunday Mass I attended today is from NJ so he indicated he was rooting for the Giants, so I suppose he'll be beaming ear to ear for quite some time. The only thing I'm disappointed about is not catching the new commercials, though our local news broadcast some of them during its Sunday sports omnibus. I liked what I saw of the Planters and Bridgestone commercials but thought the other three they aired were a bit meh. I hope to eventually catch the much-touted Coke commercial with James Carville and that Republican senator they were going to use (perhaps the minority leader?).

Nope, I can't--but the alternative is way to ugly to take...[;)][B)]
