Jaws is in my top ten favorite movies. Loved him in the French Connection as well.

Oh. Damn.

Mom will not be happy to hear this. (Jaws is one of her very favorite movies and she can quote just about anything from it at will.)

Even I know the "We're gonna need a bigger boat" line, though.

Ive always mistaken Roy Scheider for James Woods.

Just like Gary Busey and Nick Nolte.

RIP Roy.

Did a shark eat him?
I know someone that met him a few times and said he was a complete dick.
That is one of my fears, you know when you look up to a person like a movie star or singer and if you meet them they are a dick and blow you off. Then I would feel stupid for liking them and now hate them.

Maybe he was a dick...He didn't appear in Jaws 3-D and Jaws: The Revenge. [:)] I just read where he was the original choice for the Rambo role in First Blood and DeNiro's role in the Deer Hunter but was under contract for Jaws II at the time. Too bad RIP, he was no Heath Ledger though.

That's a shame. I know he appeared in a lot of memorable movies but his name is synonymous with Jaws for me. It was a memorable movie during a memorable time of my youth. And no...it did not keep me from swimming at the beach though I knew a lot of people that were spooked for awhile.

We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.
