Ah, Ben. How predictably timely. Speaking of passive/aggressive, I sometimes get the feeling you have something to say to me.

I remember a time when I knew what was going on. I have no clue anymore but I like it this way, I was stressing out too much before. But like I said this place is great and I am here every day.

Thanks Philly ... there's less drama but we've weathered some serious shitstorms so I'm pleased to see so many regulars still making NWO a worthwhile place to visit despite the waning music discussions. That's to be expected since we've covered almost every imaginable topic and artist, popular or obscure.

Still, there are mind-boggling mysteries like "Stay (The Second Time Around)" to keep us perpetually unfulfilled and frustrated enough to keep tuning in![:D]

There's so much less drama because people see that it gets them absolutely nowhere. Most people just roll their eyes. Who the hell needs it? Who's impressed by it? Some small, fringe group of New Wave Outpost Outcasts? Hey, join the rest of the internet's group of conspiracy theorists, drama queens and gossip mongers. Looks like the world wide web is the best thing to happen to your social lives.

We've got a good, solid group of mature people who are regulars here and have alot of fun! Sure, we may have chatted exhaustively about the music but the door is always open to new people who wish to discuss the same. We need to keep NWO an approachable society. In the words of the great NWO sage PhillyIdol, "save the drama for your mama!"

Marv you are so right. Remember when I used to flip out? I was really going to hunt down certain people on the board and that is true. I finally came to the right place in my mind where I avoid fights and I am so much happier.(and there are a few people still alive because of my revelation)The people that don't like it should just fade away. *and I don't really know who that might be because I have stayed out of much of the drama* Anyway..peace to all of you bastards! Lets go for drinks!

Yeah man, the flipping out was not cool. You need to chilllll. Remember, it's all about the kick-back and looking like this dude -> [8D]

NWO homework assignment: Create the ultimate kick-back playlist and listen. Repeat as necessary [:D]

Drinks: Picking up the phone now.....

[br]Mike , why was the "NWO:Same as it ever was?" poll locked ? Just wondering.
If one of the moderators can answer my question , please do. I don't mean to make a big deal out of nothing but it hits me strange that a thread like that would get locked.
This reminds me of your "Hey everybody - particularly the mods - look, I hit 1000 posts" thread. Give us all a break already. It looks like you're "hitting us all strange" with these drama queen / needy threads and polls. I think you do mean to make a big deal out of it. An entire thread devoted to this? As if you didn't get the message by people not answering the first time around, now you bump it?

If it's SO important to you, why don't you do what most people do on most other boards and just e-mail the administration with any concerns instead of trying to create some kind of ridiculous public debacle. It's never worked for anyone before. It's immature. Or maybe you knew that it wouldn't get an answer because it's so petty and insignificant?

I'm just sayin'.....[|)]

I'm sorry, but I just have to question your sincerity now when you start a divisive poll where you encourage people to vote a second time twice by logging out. Sorry, but your new-found concern just rings a bit transparent. You had your fun with your poll. Now it's over. This is the height of passive / aggressive (shit-stirring), folks [V]

Didn't mean to take so long to respond to your post but I got stuck at work for 16 hours yesterday.
Anyway, sure I could of "e-mailed the administration" and the administration could of e-mail me , but that didn't happen .A simple e-mail to me would of taken care of everything. That's how some administrations would of handled it. MikeP answered my question and that should of been that .
That being said, now I'm one post closer to my 2,000th post. If and when that post happens and if I start a so called "drama queen" thread about it Marv , I hope it doesn't bug the fuck out of you too much. If so , too bad. As long as Blir can top his "cunt sparkler" response , it will all be worth it.

No, I'm quite sure that an e-mail to you would not HAVE happened. You're not that important. And any attention seeking threads will amuse me, I assure you. They always have. We'll all be looking forward to that oh, so significant milestone of yours as well as any ideas of what board policy should be. When you get your panties untwisted, see you in a music thread, buddy.

I'm having deja vu...at least 20 asshat posters have said this exact same thing to me. You must be onto something Marv. For the record:

Keep grasping for straws ? Didn't you already use that line on other members ? Always with the straws . Listen , we're having a bad windy rain storm here and I want to check the news for the latest reports. Could we maybe continue this later ? Thanks.

I like, I like!

Never seen the weather "out" before. It's usually the "you can't bully me" shit, or the infamous "everybody here is sick of you and your posts" line. That must be the dullest dagger ever thrown...it never sticks.
