Freezepop

Freezepop is on tour promoting their new album which I like but am not in love with, much like their prior output. Good cheesy bubbly synthpop with silly lyrics. They are playing here at the end of March. Are they worth checking out with a price tag of $15?

They are absolutely worth checking out. I am, however, somewhat biased as I am also their manager. But I just wrapped up a midwest tour with them and I can tell you that every show was just awesome. Fun and awesome. Sadly I won't be at the show you're talking about but it's well worth going. I promise.

Jason,

How come I can't find them on eMusic? Your missing a huge audience of indie fans that will eat this stuff up (who tend not to use iTunes).

Well J2, I will take your opinion as slightly biased but still valid. Baring any unforeseen circumstances I will be checking this show out.

I think Freezepop are stellar! And, honestly, I think Future Future Future Perfect is by far and away the best thing they've ever done. So many good tracks on it like Less Talk, More Rokk, Brainpower, Do You Like My Wang, and Pop Music Is Not A Crime among others. I'm really hoping that we can get them out to San Francisco for the 25th Folsom Street Fair this year. We're trying to book The Presets right now. If that comes together, I'll have to put something together for Freezepop. This band is WAY under-rated! [:D]

Freezepop are playing just south of San Francisco on 4/12:

Yuri's Night Bay Area, at NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA. This is an amazing all-day music/science/art event so check out their website for all the details, as there's really too much to go into here. Freezepop will be going on at roughly 7:30. This is all-ages!

Demetri - get ahold of me about the Folsom Street Fair - someone has already reached out to them about that but never followed up. You can get me at jason@superfecta.com

LOL Yeah, that someone was me. [8D]

We're still working on a couple of other bookings first. And, once I check in with my Entertainment Chair, I'll get a hold of you. Are you with Sepiatone?

Thanks for the response...[;)]

I'm their manager. Athan @ Sepiatone is their agent.

That's who I talked with - Athan! But, Liz says the NASA show is the only Bay Area gig coming up so I'm planning to check out the band. Sounds like a good time! You gonna be in attendance? By the way, I added you on MySpace.
