Elvis opens for The Police: Hell's Frozen Over?

This summer's final leg of Police reunion shows will have former rival & nemesis Elvis Costello opening with his band The Imposters.
Love both bands dearly, but it came as quite a shock. I mean, amongst other famous slights Elvis wrote a scathing song about Sting: "Hurry Down Doomsday (The Bugs Are Taking Over)" and called their music "dreadful" at the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. What a change of tune!

Your thoughts?

He also called Sting a little Hitler... If you have the liner notes to the "This Years Model" Reissue he has a short caviat about The Police. "I hate the band but love their music" and something about being "Blond cuties" well it was bound to happen. Sting and Elvis Costello turned into similar people from whom they once where back in the day... 1978...

Love both band gonna see them on July 14th and maybe 16th
