Bauhaus Is Back!

The new album is "Go Away White", their first of new material since 1983.

I was never too much into these guys but I know they had a rabid following.

Glad to know they are still around.

It's an ok album, doesn't really add or take away from their legacy. I guess they recorded the whole thing in one shot, so it's basically a 'live' studio album. The band has actually split up for good, so there won't be a tour to support the record.

In The Flat Field is still tops for me.

I was a huge fan. I have been hesitant to rush out to get the new one...but I know I will.



We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.

I love Shes In Parties and Bella Lugosi's Dead.

Hope they still sound like they used to.

As an album of contemporary music, though, it's quite modern and original sounding. I'm enjoying it, although it doesn't hold a candle to their earlier work. Really do with they were supporting it with a tour, though. Saw them with Nine Inch Nails a couple years ago and was deeply impressed.
