Very few of them applied to me but I think it's because those racists left out a lot of stuff. Let's make our own list! I'll start:

-Going to the grocery store on any date other than the first of the month.

-Giving our kids names that wouldn't score higher than 30 points if played in a Scrabble game.

My best friend from grad school is black (her preferred term). When her parents and grandparents visited from back east for graduation, my dad held a party for us. After the BBQ, he went down to the basement and came up with an armload of Trivial Pursuit, Pictionary, etc., just as we always do for any family gathering. My friend turned to me with a look of horror on her face and said "Only white people do this!"
