Thomas Dolby Concert at Wolfgang's Vault

I just did a quick search of the forums and found no mention of Wolfgang's Vault, a great resource for live concerts.

Though it doesn't have lots of new wave it does have some and today they put up a Thomas Dolby concert at the Roxy from 1983. I thought you all might like to know!

The back story to this site is that the recordings and posters etc were all part of Bill Graham's archives. After his death they were owned by a number of parties but eventually the evil (and stupid) Clear Channel sold the archives to the current owner for 5 mil. He decided to put the music online, stream it for free, and sell the ones he has gotten permission to sell. There are many hundreds of concerts there. If you are into 60s music it is really a treasure trove!

Thanks...great stuff. I've read so many articles over the years on Graham's Vault/archives...I could only imagine the stuff he had in there. Whoever the new owner is...is sitting on a goldmine.

Cool. Thanks. Also on the site, it's very cool to hear U2, The Clash, and Duran Duran back in the early days. Gotta love it.

I hope they extend their catalog-- it would be great to hear Depeche Mode, the Cure, OMD, the Smiths and other top artists at various points in their careers.

They add new concerts every week. I get a list twice a week in their newsletter.
