This might be the first interesting thing I've ever seen from the Microsofties. Question is, can they possibly pull it off?

LOL! As will the dropped pint of Guiness onto a 30" LCD. They're already at a couple of ATT stores, but only doing simple stuff like telling you the feature of your cell phone that you lay down on it or using it as a road map. That second part kinda just makes it a giant iPhone.

I was thinking iPhone on steroids as well. To me, the 30" size makes it far too small to be really useful as an interactive desktop. Talk to me when you've got a 56" version Microsoft.

the logical next step, basically, they already do all that stuff with an iphone so yes, the iphone on steroids would be pretty accurate!

If Kevin Kitchen shared that mindset, he would have never written this song:

Fingerprints - Kevin Kitchen

Hmm, might have some uses wall mounted, like for video communications and security.

Typical Microsoft. "Unveiling" a "new" product.....and so clearly looking for a market.

<a href="http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/view/id/65">Jeff Han gave a more honest introduction two years ago.</a>

What will deliver this product into the public's usability vernacular will be the software with which to interact with the machine. The world leader in bloatware hasn't got a chance. Apple's already been running for miles with the idea.
