Im Just Wondering, Is There Such A Band?

Postby empyrean » Mon Apr 28, 2008 8:27 pm

Is there a New Wave band out there, (or non new wave) in which the lead singer is a male and the rest of his bandmates are all female?

Example, The Breeders (Cannonball, Divine Hammer) but the only male in this band is the drummer. The rest are female.

Im looking for a band in which the singer is male and everyone in his group are all girls.

Cant think of one. No, X-mal Deutschland is out. [:D]

Aren't Duran Duran and the Go Gos actually the opposite--all male bands fronted by females?

If that's the case, then I can put those Duran Duran posters back up on my bedroom wall without feeling all guilty and confused.

Not new wave, but Mindless Self Indulgence is close. The lead singer is male and 2 out of 3 of the remaining members are female.

I couldn't tell you. I'd have to get someone else to do the research for me.
