OMD Live CD question

I saw a CD in my local music store by OMD called "Architecture and Morality Live PLUS" or something along those lines. It had maybe 20 of their songs up until 1982. But on the cover it said three of the tracks (forget which ones) were only available digitally.

Anyone own this CD and can explain what that means?

This could be an issue touched on briefly on <a href="http://www.nwoutpost.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=20428">this thread</a>. The U.S. release of the Live CD is short not three, but FOUR tracks which ARE available on the UK/European release:

Pandora's Box
Locomotion
Sailing on the Seven Seas
Romance of the Telescope

So to get ALL of the tracks, you may purchase the CD at Amazon/UK or directly from the <a href="http://www.omd.uk.com/omerch/index.php">OMD Official Store</a>.

FYI: Andy explained the track difference this way:

"The Cd is shorter in the USA because of mechanical license issues. It doesn't matter how many tracks you put on, US record companies will only pay mechanical license to publishers for so many songs. Therefore, the songwriters get short changed if there is more than the maximum that the company will pay for. It's always been this way."
