What is your favorite quote from a New Wave or Punk artist?

I just saw this:

"When we first started out, we had 35 minutes of music, on a good night we could get it down to 25."- Elvis Costello

Came across this preacher who chose to use some notable quotes from prominent musicians & industry figures (NW, Punk, R&R) to call attention to what 'evil' lies in secular music and some Contemporary Christian music as well.

Keith Richards when asked what he thought of all the rappers shooting each other:
"I think they're doing a fine job"

Also, I don't have the exact quote, but didn't Elvis Costello make a comment back in the late 70's, saying something about smacking Sting in the head if he didn't stop using that fake accent?

It's not a quote from a musician, but it's about music:

"The true sign that you're living through a golden age is the feeling that it's never going to end."

--Simon Reynolds, in "Rip It Up and Start Again: Postpunk 1978-1984" (describing how it felt to be young, British, and besotted with pop music in 1982).

He accused Earth Wind and Fire of being "an extremely occultic and new age group".

I KNEW it!

PS When I played the video backwards, the bearded man repeatedly says, "vote for Obama, I command you"!

Coincidentally, I just now found this gem in a book review:
